ANYONE FOR TENNIS?
Chatteris Tennis Club is a friendly, thriving Club that welcomes players of all ages and abilities.
The Club has achieved great things over the last few years, being named as ‘Tennis Club of the Year for Cambridgeshire’ in 2016 by the Lawn Tennis Association, as well as being Runner-Up for ‘Club of the Year’ in the prestigious Living Sport Awards. Furthermore, Simon Grainger, the Club’s Chairman, Treasurer and Men’s A Team Captain won the LTA National Lifetime Achievement Award for Tennis.
The Club has superb facilities with four hard tennis courts, all with floodlights enabling year round play, plus two Clubhouse’s for members' use. Racquets can be provided too for beginners and those participating in coaching.
Both social tennis and league matches are available at the Club, with Club nights held Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm and from 10am on Sunday mornings. These afternoons are fun - a regular group play and really welcome new faces.
However, life isn't just about the tennis! Chatteris Tennis Club has a busy social scene too, with events throughout the year including BBQ’s, Halloween ‘Monster Smash’ event, Open Tennis Weekends and ten-pin bowling evenings.
